I came into town for Comic-Con International, and I had a great experience with the hotel. They were always friendly and very helpful!
The view of the marina right outside our balcony & the spa.
The necessity of going to the hotel bar for a bucket of ice.
Nice hotel with nice views and very helpful people working on hotel. Restaurant not a michelin star, but good food. Also close to airport with shuttle working from 6 am.
Carpet in rooms when california is a hot place!
The hotel was in a lovely quiet location facing onto the marina on one side and the sea on the other. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. We would recommend facing the marina as it is away from the road. The breakfast was very lovely with lots of choice.Great to have the free shuttle service to the airport which saved us 13 dollars each way.
Nothing - apart from the length of our stay. We could only stay one night but wish it had been longer!
incomfortable noisy AC noise from other room noise from plumbing
handicap room had a tub with saftey bars. I suggest all handicap rooms have a walkin shower. Most handicap people can not walk or raise legs. Since I have a handicap, I needed asstance to get in out of the tub to take a shower.
My wife enjoyed your hotel for the part of our anniversary that we had staying at your hotel than the next two nights we had complementary at a highly rated chain hotel. The chain hotel was nice but your hotel had character/personality and sincerity without the corporate pomp and circumstances! Well done! Your breakfast host/server (Saturday 12/4) made our morning breakfast a pleasurable, personable one.
Based on what my wife said, if we return to San Diego and your price is right, we could be repeat customers for a special occasion. No complaints you were all very nice during our 13th anniversary. Thanks again.
Close to the main SD's areas - the dock it's attached to the hotel
I spent only one night...
Everything was great and all were very accomodating.
Seemed as though there could have been more help in dining area at morning meal.
The excellant and curtious staff, from check-in, house keeping, restaurant to check-out. The view from the balcony in the room was wonderful as I was drinking my morning coffee, watching the Coast Guard and Navy ships coming and going. Thank you all for a wonderful 3 days.
They did everything right to make our stay a wonderful time. The place is very clean and the food was the best. Close to everything the city has to offer As a person who travels alot on vacations this was the best place, I ever stayed in 50 years of traveling..
Nice comfotrable rooms with good view of marina and/or main shipping access to San Diego.
Small enough to handle your personal requests, i.e., prepare room early.
Proximity from elevator to room.
I always love the service provided by the staff at the hotel desk, particularly Jody who was very courteous and professional.
soft beds view.......quiet.......the complimentary breakfast was fabulous
the 'free wifi' sucked.................for all of the $ spent on the room...give a good hookup...............I hate it when they nickel and dime you to death...I mean $400 for 3 nites............is it too much to ask............it's not that I'm cheap.....I tipped room service $10 charging $5 for parking
